COVID-19 Measures

|

technicians

With all the news about COVID-19, we wanted to inform you of our efforts to protect you, your family, and our staff.

First and foremost, our technicians currently are all healthy and we have instructed our technicians to stay home, take a sick day, and contact their primary care provider if they should develop any sign of illness. In this manner we only are sending out technicians who we understand are healthy.

Second, we are staying informed through reading communications from local, state and federal health authorities.

Third, our technicians will continue to change gloves between every service. This is our standard practice.

Fourth, we have instructed our technicians to check the front door of our customers’ residences for notes regarding whether anyone at the residence is sick. Please help us by leaving a note prominently on or near the front door and posting them in such a manner that we do not need to open doors or handle the note to read them.

  1. If there is a note, we will comply with the request on the note.
  2. If there is no note, we will continue our standard practice of knocking or ringing the doorbell to inform the residents of our presence and to ask whether interior service is needed. We will observe the 6 foot rule as recommended by the CDC.
  3. If there is no answer we will proceed with providing treatment outdoors as normal.
  4. If interior work is needed, we will do so on a case by case basis. Any indoor service should be arranged by calling our office. If we preform work inside we will work with gloves and take additional precautions as needed.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. We are hopeful that by taking these precautions we will help the community get through this difficult season.

Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
